We use except or except for to introduce the only thing or person that a statement does not include:

Използваме except или except for в английския език, за да покажем, че нещо или някой не са включени в общото цяло:

The price of the holiday includes all meals except lunch.
– Цената на екскурзията включва всички хранения, с изключение на обяда.

Everyone is invited except you and me.
– Всички са поканени, с изключение на теб и мен.

We use besides to mean “as well as” or “in addition to”:

Използваме besides в английския език, за да покажем, че нещо е в допълнение, че се прибавя към друго

I don’t enjoy watching sports except(for) football. (= I enjoy only football)
– Аз не обичам да гледам спорт, с изключение на футбол.

Besides football, I enjoy baseball and basketball. (= I enjoy 3 sports)
– Освен футбол, аз обичам бейзбол и баскетбол.

We use apart from with the same meaning as both except(for) and besides:

Използваме apart from в английския език със значенията и на except(for), и на besides:

I don’t enjoy any sports apart from football.
– Аз не обичам друг спорт освен футбол.

Apart from football, I enjoy baseball and basketball.
– Освен футбол, аз харесвам бейзбол и баскетбол.

We use but with a similar meaning to except (for), particularly after negative words such as no; nobody; nothing and etc.:

Използваме but със значението на except (for) в английския език, особено след отрицателни частици или думи като не; никой; нищо и т.н.

There is no other way out but the door.
– Няма друг изход освен през вратата.

Noone is left but me.
– Никой друг не е останал освен мен.

Английска граматика: Between and Among

Between (между) се използва в английския език за две или повече лица/предмети, които се разглеждат индивидуално, поотделно.

She held the diamond between her thumb and forefinger.
– Тя държеше диаманта между палеца и показалеца си.

Bulgaria is situated between Romania, Greece, Turkey, Serbia and Macedonia.
– България се намира между Румъния, Гърция, Турция, Сърбия и Македония.

Ivan sits between Maria and Peter.
– Иван седи между Мария и Петър.

Among (между, сред) се използва в английския език за три или повече повече лица предмети, които се разглеждат като част от група или маса.

He stood among all his friends in the room and celebrated his birthday.
 – Той стоеше между всичките си приятели в стаята и празнуваха рожденния му ден.

She found her ID card among her clothes in the wardrobe.
– Тя откри личната си карта сред дрехите в гардероба.

I couldn’t see you among the crowd in the street.
– Не можах да те видя сред тълпата на улицата.

Както във всички езици, така и в испанския, изразяването на молба може да стане по различен начин – по-меко или по-заповедно.  На испански език, например, можем да поискаме чаша вода по следните начини:

1. ¡Un vaso de agua! – Чаша вода!

2. ¡Tráeme un vaso de agua, anda! – Донеси ми чаша вода, хайде!

3. ¡Que me traigas un vaso de agua! – Донеси ми чаша вода!

С наближаването на заветната дата 14 май сякаш все по-често започваме да се притесняваме и да се питаме: „Ще ни стигне ли времето за подготовка?“. Отговорът: Все още – да! Материалът, включен в курса, е разширен преговор и обобщение на изучаваното от вас от пети клас до сега. Новото е интерпретативното съчинение – както като формат, така и като учебно съдържание. Но с повече упражнения и малко късмет – все още не е късно да се справим! 🙂 Така че: НАПРЕЕЕД! към успешно представяне на матурите!

Ето и един анекдот за всички любители на  коли!

A man is having trouble with his car; it frequently stalls. So he goes to a garage, and asks them to fix it. They replace the transmission and put in new spark plugs. But his car still doesn’t run right, so he takes it to another garage. At this second garage, the mechanic pokes around for ten minutes, then pulls a screwdriver out of his belt and tightens a screw. And now the car runs perfectly. But the man is irate when he gets a bill in the mail for $200. He storms back to the mechanic, and says, “This is outrageous! All you did was tighten a screw, and you ask for $200! I want an itemized bill!” So the mechanic takes out a pad and pencil, and writes down an itemized bill, as follows:

Labor: turning screw $5

Knowing which screw to turn: $195

unconditionally, perpetually . . .

BUT , on the other hand . . .
If you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally
when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you,
runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if
your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness . . .
.. . . then buy a cat!
Now be honest, you thought I was gonna’ say.. marry a man, didn’t you?
Send this to all the women you know to brighten their day. Send this to all
the men just to annoy them.
